If you are thinking about choosing blue for your wedding, you might be interested to know that blue flowers have always been a symbol of unity and trust. Traditionally, blue flowers indicate a creative bride who values loyalty and fidelity above anything else.

Here’s a selection of blue flowers that will make a beautiful bridal bouquet: Monkshood, Hydrangea, Veronica, Lobelia, Morning Glory, Sweet Peas, Lupines, Phlox, Hibiscus, Delphinium, Tulips, Flax, Bachelor Button and Plumbago.

Blue wedding flowers also help fulfill the “something blue” from the traditional “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue…” wedding rhyme.

I am certain that you will be able to - just ask your florist if they are available or if they can point you to someone who may have blue tulips or be able to order them for you.

  5. My husband and I are trying to get a bouquet to his dad for Father’s Day of Blue Bachelor’s button like the image on flowerella.com. Is this a pipe dream? It seems all people sell are the seeds.
Thanks. Obviously this is a desperate last minute need, since we realized we forgot this Sunday is Father’s Day. Appreciation in advance for any help!
