Many people think of roses as having to be put in tall vases in bunches or as single blossoms in tall vases. Although this is the traditional way of decorating tables at a wedding they can also look fantastic in bowls.

Instead of using the long stems and vases, try putting loose roses in a bowl for a change. This is a solution for what to do with that bouquet from the corner store that your boyfriend brings you - but it would also look nice on every wedding table. Not only do you arrange the roses in a bowl but you augment the look with nests of fat purple or vibrant green grapes. This is very good luck at a wedding as well as grapes represent fertility and prosperity.  The grape vines can also serve as a handy grid for supporting the roses upright in the bowl so they look exceptionally elegant.

Another really beautiful way to decorate with roses is to use them at the base of a different centerpiece, such as candles. Here, candles ring a punch bowl, and look gorgeous!
